"I like that it was my first job in telecom, and it was a GREAT place to start and learn from. There were a ton of resources to draw from at just about every stage in a sale. They had a great management team, and my training was the best. It was very competitive internally against each teams, and as Account Manager, I was able not only to pick my team, but I matrix managed them and other vendors, departments and LD providers. It was a wonderful team. I was promoted 4 times."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"I did not like that during the time I was there, competition was just starting and there was nowhere for my accounts to go but down... because we had all the business. I did not like that some customers were sold data networks that did not meet their requirements because a salesperson sold it for its worth in commissions over a contract of another product that would have worked better... and customer was literally legally bound to the multiple-year contract (and there was nothing I could do to really help the customer out). I did not like that it was this HUGE cog of a wheel turning ever so slowly. It was difficult to get anyone to do anything with any sense of real urgency."
