"I worked at ATPCO for a few years. Management team is micromanagement at it's finest. Senior managers leave little space to get the work done, and then change how tasks are done, re-prioritize constantly and then expect tasks done immediately. there is little time to strategic plan. Almost everything is tactical with the plan to go back and fix later, but later never comes. Which then Sr Management then blames the underlings for issues or poor plans. IT wise, the managers are dangerous to the company."

"Check out the rush hour commute before deciding."
What don't you like about working at ATPCO?
"Management is behind the times when it comes to lifecycle management. Commuting in NoVA is hellish."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"CMMI training for their staff. I'd also recommend that they consider actively promoting telecommuting for their staff. The cost to ATPCO would be negligible but a huge benefit to their employees."
