"I am still in residency. Training is a joke. You are treated like a child. You ask questions only to be made fun of for asking. Training seems to have been put together by someone who is not aware of what we actually do. No technical support training. Then you are told you are only activating and onboarding, but you only figure out how you activate once you are on the phone giving horrible service. In reality, this is a sales job. You will be pushed to sell. That’s the only focus. You are instructed to push back. You keep asking questions and explaining you would be able to sell if you were an actual “expert”. You will not be properly trained but will be micromanaged by people who you can tell have never been on the phones. Asurion feels like it’s managed by people who do not know what they do. The pay is good because no real professional would work here unless pay is good enough for you to stick your ethics on your ass. It’s sad when a person in training has immediate ideas on how to fix training. Also, there is a reason they stage their offices as daycares. You pull in young people still in college. Show them a ping pong table and walls that look like a scrapbook and they think “wow so cool”. Yes, this is accurate. This is not a professional place. Yes, it feels like children run it. And yes, you are treated and trained like a child. Be smart. Work at a place that actually will help you learn and grow as a professional."

"Asurion was a great employer for most of my tenure with them, however, in the end, they recognized my talent, set up meetings with senior leadership to pick my brain for operational ideas, used all of the said ideas, and then dismissed me. It was obvious I could have been better right fitted for a more prominent role in the business and that is evident in their engagement and taking my thoughts to change operational standards. They are poor at right fitting individuals to their best roles."

"This company will start you off very nicely with great pay. However, the company works harder to get you out of the door than they do to retain you. They seem employee-driven but this is all a front."

"I gave this company nearly 6 years of my life starting in 2015 ending in 2021, I swore by this place, I referred over 5 people who made it out of training into production and never got ANY referral payouts. I spoke so highly of this company and swore I'd retire from here, absolutely loved the dynamic the people felt like a family...till it wasn't!!! I helped this company launch new parts of the company like chat trials, was a peer advisor, and even temporarily relocating to help with warranty phone delivery in another state. Went out of state to become a POC/Lead for other colleagues because I was tenured and consistent. I adapted to change, I took feedback I stayed positive even when sales was introduced. I loved this job soooo much UNTIL THE COMPANY FAILED ME WHEN I REPORTED SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND BULLYING!!! Not even HR made me feel comfortable. I felt like I never should've said anything! After having spoken to HR & employee relations I was advised that there would be an investigation on the supervisor(s) and that I would hear back from them. 1. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. 2. I HAD TO COME INTO WORK EVERY SINGLE DAY AFTER I REPORTED MY CASE AND SEE THE MALES WHO HARASSED ME!!! 3. DURING A RECORDED CAD WITH MY SUPERVISOR SHE CUT THE RECORDER OFF AFTER I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS AND UNCOMFORTABLITY AND SAID "THEY" SAID IF YOURE UNCOMFORTABLE AND DONT WANT TO SEE THOSE PEOPLE SIT IN A EMPTY SPOT WHERE U CANT SEE THEM. It genuinely felt like I was being punished for doing what should've been done and the supervisors were off the hook. And when I began sitting in an empty spot they then started hounding me about "not being a team player" because I wasn't sitting with the team!! It really started taking a huge toll on my mental health!! And here's the kicker, they have a OM who knew nothing about my sexual harassment case who would send me explicit messages on social media!! And I could've went back to report it, but granted ASURION DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE FIRST 2 SUPs"

"Education for the agents is wonderful. The technology was wonderful and didn't have a lot of things that interfered with it. Working from home made it easy and convenient with a person with a serious illness in the family. Great place for those in the military."

"Great entry-level IT role in order to begin my career. I got along with all of my coworkers but the driving to different job locations made the job a little difficult. I loved interacting with customers and helping them troubleshoot their consumer-level technology"

"I was contracted by Asurion for about 2 years in total. I had a very good experience overall. I was allowed a lot of room to grow and learned a lot about how the back-end and front-end work simultaneously. The pay was also more than sufficient. My only concerns would be the lack of benefits and swift decisions that were made with no concern of general employees. Contracting is never the most stable job but I still felt that we were not given very much support. Overall, the customer will come first no matter what you do. So I had no complaints in the end."
