  • "I worked at the division of hematology and Oncology, department of Medicine, School of Medicine, Saint Louis University from August 2014 to June 2019, applied research grants, finished several research projects with published 8 peer-viewed articles and 2 book chapters and also trained some medical students and fellows to promote their research abilities. I was very happy worked in the university environment, but our research funding was run out and the division chief was retired."

  • "I love the freedom of hours and research flexibility. The work environment is engaging with plenty of helpful people who are experts in their respective fields. The continual search for funding can become oppressive if this is not your forte. This is offset somewhat by your supervising professor, but at the end of the day, no funding means no job."
