"This was a great Company to work for, however the current real estate market caused it to sell off the mortgage & construction loan division."

"Direct Managers were very accessible; I was always acknowledge both verbally and financially for my work. I had many opportunities to grow as an individual."

"If its for the Bank (First Tennessee Bank); as a parent company they were great to be associated with. However, I can't really say too much about the bank side as I didn't have much contact with them."
What don't you like about working at First Horizon Home Loans?
"My time was cut short due to the market and industry as a whole."

"They too will be losing their jobs, if not already, so not much I can say to them."

"I disliked poor senior and middle management who did not value experienced employees and institutional memory. I disliked outsourcing jobs to India."

"Institutional memory prevents new managers from repeating the mistakes of past regimes. Experienced workers keep clients happy and business relationships profitable."

"I enjoyed the various projects that I was part of."

"The Finance Transformation Program in which by 2010 many of the positions would be sent to India or the Philippines."

"Keep the jobs in America in lieu of shipping them offshore."

"It wasn't all ICAP which stunted my advancement it was market conditions."

"Being in charge and responsible for my own book. I also enjoyed interacting with traders at large banks as well as the NY Federal Reserve."
