  "I've been an Officer in the United States Navy for the past seven years. There have been plenty of up's and down's with many challenges along the way. I am transitioning out of the military not because of lack of respect for the job but I have reached the point in my career that I know it is time to move on. I would have to stay in for a minimum of five more years and all of those are out at sea and deployable, which is not what I want. I am looking to start a family and being away from my fiancee for a long period of time is something I am not looking for at this point."

  "I've worked for the Navy my entire adult life. For the first ten years, it was submarines and nuclear power. For the last eleven years, it has been the Civil Engineer Corps and the Seabees. The latter period is, without hesitation, my favorite. The caliber of people in the CEC and Seabees is above reproach. The level of integrity, character, and teamwork is something I have been very privileged to see and experience."
