"I loved the ability to work at the computer being able to manage bills, enrollments and everything else that came with my job, but still having enough free time to go into classrooms and interact with the children.I wouldn't say hate, but I was sometimes disappointed in the way things were done at the school, however it was not my decision to make those changes, but it was my decision to support my school and its director/owner."

"The short duration of the employment, being a summer camp it is only open for 10 weeks each year."

"Realize that you are doing this job for the kids. This is not a job that will make you rich and the kids know who do it for them and who are just there to collect a paycheck."

What don't you like about working at YMCA?

"I wish it was more money and possibly more hours. Hopefully a full time position."

"Spend more time at the other sites and see how these other adults are interacting with the children."

"Mixed message makes for a stressful work environment & high turnover rates for employees. Recognize shortcomings at the senior management level to improve overall function and staff retention."

"The university is fairly segmented. Sometimes it is a challenge to bridge across departments and schools to get a consensus."
