What do you like about working at Assembly & Manufacturing Systems?

"This was an outstanding place to work as we never knew what kind of machine we were going to make or who the client would next be. We built very precision machines using all the most up-to-date equipment we could find. The employees of the company were happy and well taken care of, to the point where we would even give out our personal information to the clients in case they needed to contact us after hours. Our upper management was difficult for our customers to deal with, but our customers kept coming back due to the quality of the systems they were provided with.I will always look back at my position as one of the most satisfying jobs I ever held due to the people I worked with, my customers and the lives we saved with the machines we produced."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I can only hope you can find a place like this- it was the perfect job, at the perfect time, all 20 years of it."

What don't you like about working at Assembly & Manufacturing Systems?

"All the machines were sold with a penalty clause, so when the company folded, I lost upwards of 10 weeks of vacation, mostly due to being unable to take time off to clear the books. To this day, I'm not sure I would have anyway- it was always nice to see what next day would bring."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"One person in particular... remember- it's your employees that got you where you are today."
