Always looking for more to do once my tasks were finished, continuously took the initiative to always get the job done. Filing, copying, inventory, inbound and outbound calls, and setting appointments along with dealing with a lot of customer relations issues."

"The work was challenging, the software tools and assigned hardware (HP EliteBook 8740W) was great."

What don't you like about working at Ashley Furniture?

"Too many legacy rules and legacy folks that do not like change very much. I was hired because I had knowledge on the latest development techniques (modules, service programs, SQL stored procedures) but was never successful at being allowed to promote the new techniques."

"None that I would want to share, I do not think they would listen anyway."

"the busy time is October thru February after that it slows down"

"Not a whole lot. Wish my salary was higher. And less body pain"

"The vacation days are bad(few). The pay and rates are low. Need more. Ther hire terrible workers. Not warehouse ready people"

"Pay the factory workers a little more. Its much desrerved"

"No advancement, family owned franchise very one-sided with family members as employees and attitude toward them when policies are violated."

"The lack of control over certain managers and the lack of growth in certain positions."

"Communicate with ALL departments, and take heed to what they communicate. Remember, a manager is a leader, and a visionary, encouraging, building, and maintaining order and success. Although important, sales is not the only part of the company that makes it successful."
