"I worked for ASA Electronics for almost 10 months. At 6 months, the project I was working on was completed and I was told to familiarize myself with the company's products by testing them in the lab. The lab supervisor was so bad at doing his job that 3 techs left in the short time I was there. One employee was so stressed out, he had a stroke. And when I, and several other employees brought this up to HR, we were told he was on medication and going to counseling for his anger issues. Apparently, this has been going on for some time and neither the engineering manager, nor the HR director has done anything to fix it. Since I was let go without an explanation, key employees (who have been the backbone of the engineering department for years) have left. I believe my unwillingness to be treated like a child ultimately led to my dismissal. I was extremely excited about the position, and loved what I did, until I was forced into the lab. I was nitpicked on my whereabouts even though I was assigned to liaison with the customer, customer service, tech support, engineering, production, and the lab. When I asked what I would be doing in the future, I was told that I would be doing another engineer's job. So, I asked why I was not training with him... and got nothing but blank stares. Apparently, that engineer was nowhere to be found and could never be reached, yet I was under a magnifying glass."
