Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Unless you want to be harassed by your superiors and lied to so your issue can be swept under the rug, I would have to say find another company to work for. Its terrible and a lot of employees have experienced what I have in different situations. They money might be decent but it's not worth the hardship they put you through"

What don't you like about working at Arrendale State Prison?

"The superiors, they don't base their opinion on your work ethic but more on popularity. If you agree and do every little thing they do then they love you, if not then you are screwed. I was excited at first to finally have a career but soon after I started I guess one of the captains decided he didn't like me. I asked him but he just said he didn't have a problem. I got treated so much different then anyone else there. I just like to come to work and go home but I found myself in his office a lot on stupid petty things. I can honestly say I got harassed a lot and that is no exaggeration. When I used my chain of command all they did was lie and take up for each other but they never could show me policy for what they were doing. I used my entire chain of command and it did no good. I hated going to work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think with the turnover rate being so high someone needs to be doing some investigation as of why they cant keep anyone. Stop lying to cover up another superiors wrong doing and listen to the employees instead of treating them like they're worse then inmates."

What do you like about working at Arrendale State Prison?

"First, salary didn't go as low as what they payed me. Sad but true. The work wasn't hard but it seemed like all the management was wanting me to quit. One of the older officers had to make the captain stop saying if you don't like it quit. They need more officers like him, he made it seem like things were going to get better."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Run, run away very fast and far, then keep running."

What don't you like about working at Arrendale State Prison?

"MONEY!!! no one should have to put up with the departments crap for what they pay. Stop promoting unethical people, make sure they can tell you what is right first. Last, don't advertise vacation time if you can't use it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get the guy who answers every ones' questions and make him the warden. Stop letting the supervisors curse and yell at someone for making mistakes. Remember, if you don't offer a better way of doing something, constructive criticism is just plain criticism!"

"Controlled environment"
