"As with any company, your peers make or break you. There there a few rare genuine people."

"Get in good the good 'ole boys club right away - promotions are based on politics."

What don't you like about working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car?

"Constantly threatened to perform or be written up. Can receive write-ups every single week. Senior leadership managers by numbers and not personalities. Therefore they will never get the best out of their people. Manage entirely through intimidation and is a thankless job. Where is the praise we hired you to perform well, we expect it! Training is a joke, it is all OJT except for a couple nights in a training center where you really learn nothing except that the trainer is a joke too. I hate that I still work 70 hours a week for 7 years now. If you work less, your offices will likely not be successful or someone will backstab you because you must not be committed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have a process in place that makes sure that the employee feedback surveys are honest and that in the feedback (by region) we can actually see the good/bad/ugly and participate in the plans to correct them. ALL WITHOUT INTIMIDATION! The current process is bogus because even though they say it is anonymous, your direct superiors threaten you every day."

"Do not simply forward messages with see below written. Send out communication with the why included, and not just the what, so that area managers can communicate the value of decisions to the team uniformly."

"Senior managment left something to be desired. Support services were more a hindrance than a help."

"They were unable to find me a continuing project (domestic or international) to keep me on."

What do you like about working at Supplemental Health Care?

"I enjoyed the teams I worked with. I also enjoyed the travel involved. I also liked their 401K program as there was company match and fully vested!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask the tough questions. Understand the expectations from a production standpoint. Inquire about the autonomy you may have in creating novel ways of recruiting, servicing and driving the business. Good luck!"

What don't you like about working at Supplemental Health Care?

"Very hard to get into the protected circle of management. I also did not like the culture that management promoted and the metrics that all were subject to. Employees accomplishments were not acknowledged, rather, the places they fell short were highlighted on a weekly basis. There were also a shortage of professional growth opportunities as revenue was flat or declining. Management did not engage in servant leadership but operated as controlling, directive giving agents which did not allow for any autonomy from the robotic outline of job function."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I suggest a complete overhaul of Executive Management. The decline in revenue and level of customer service is unacceptable. I would also add that empowering your team is #1 and leaving behind the ego driven, criticism plagued environment should be embraced ASAP. The internal attrition rate is also a major problem and should be examined closely. When employees leave, they take with them relationships built with both clinicians and clients."
