"Do not commit to the brand if you are not ready to become the brand. If you want to gain respect, you must always be better than who you see there currently."

What don't you like about working at Denny's?

"Denny's brand image has always been a struggle for us. Coming from a much higher-end brand profile, it was a difficult transition for me to make emotionally."
