"Typical family medicine clinic, although as new mid-level I received most of the other doctors' paps and physicals that they did not want to do. Medical Assistants are lowest paid compared to other systems, most are newly graduated so some days it's difficult to stay on schedule and keep charts updated in the garbage EMR NextGen. Constant pressure to produce, see more patients more quickly and complete notes asap. No quality work /home-life balance unless you are brief with simple notes and good work ethic. Many promises from admin, never materialized."
