"This is not a good place for women to work because of the old men's club. You could start a project with great gusto, and then the so-called managers change their minds again, and now all your work is for nothing. This place is not good for long term careers either because there's no room for advancement."

"My supervisor was toxic, did not get along with anyone, refused to even be in meetings with multiple people it was imperative she work with and had problems with alcohol. She blamed all of the problems her superiors had with her performance on me, fired me, then fired the person who replaced me after 12 days before getting fired herself. I have never been in a worse situation in my professional career, and I have never had problems working with any individual before."

"Working in this company was very disappointing to say the very least. I thought I was being given a chance to contribute to this department and grow. This never transpired. My immediate "managers" (if this is what they are still calling themselves) were moody alcoholics. There was favoritism and abusiveness, just like at the other horrible places that I heard about and worked for in the past, this company was no better. There are never raises, in any department here at ARC. It's not just the department where I was working in, it's across the board. The managers were unethical, would lie about the month end intake of money. They called it "fudging the numbers". And even though I was told that there was on the job training upon beginning my position/job, when I started my job, there was none. And since the manager was very difficult to communicate with, getting help with learning my job was a challenge. My manager loved to vent and spiel. All of us had to listen to her daily problems. One would think that she'd prefer to be a professional and help others grow in the department, but I think that she never experienced this at a job. If you are thinking of working here, don't. Don't do it, unless you enjoy working within a happy hour environment."

"When first starting work here, In the Start-up department, I had an optimistic outlook. But after a year I was discouraged greatly. The people who call themselves managers are uneducated and untrained. I would be hard-pressed to even call my immediate manager a supervisor. This place has no regard for its employees while they are working there or upon leaving. In other professionally managed companies the managers will take you to lunch or say good by when you leave. Not here! The policy is ignore! And ignore more! There is no training whatsoever in any department. The reviews are questionable at best. The 2 "managers" reviewing me, actually fought with each other during my review. And I don't think I've ever heard of anyone getting a raise. The immediate Technology Manager in the department was very temperamental. And they also operate off their own "clique" policy. There seems to be a happy hour vibe in the department, and the company in general. The worse part of being employed in the department where I worked, was the unstable personality types of the 2 managers. After I left I wrote 2 letters to the Upper Management in Walnut Creek, outlining some of the outpoints I witnessed and was subjected to."
