What do you like about working at Aramark Uniform Services?

"Nothing, the worst company I have ever worked for in my life, the sales manager will promise you the world to get you on board and it is all a bunch of lies and scams. Also, you not only have a quota of 125/week uniform rental but 1750 in direct sales selling t-shirts which he forgot to mention and also forgot to mention that service drivers, and district managers write business to instead of handing in leads."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not waste you time here, you will only get 6 months to a year tops before moving on, if you are looking to job hop, then go for it."

What don't you like about working at Aramark Uniform Services?

"Would never recommend to anyone to apply to this division."

"Rehire all new management, the problem starts here."

"I was involved in projects where the customer service was improved, employees working environment was improved and the company improved its profits as well."

"Work with your boss but keep the higher ups posted of all what you are doing."

"Management was handed over to people in early forties and older people were pretty much ignored."

"Judge employee by their qualification and their contribution to the company and not by favoritism."

"The coordination between workers, there was no proper communication, it needed work."

"Really screen before you hire one. Make sure they go thru quarterly training sessions."

"Must be tough to work here - can be very rewarding but be prepared for internal strife."

"When you are performing well the treatment is great, there is very little micro managing. I also like the challenge and creating relationships with customers. The money is good when you are doing well too."

"Must be very self driven and tough. You must do lots of activity to be succesful. Be prepared to sink or swim."

What don't you like about working at Aramark Uniform Services?

"On the other hand when you are struggling you are on your own. There is a great deal of internal struggle over sales including getting them approved and getting credit for them. Have never had to work so hard to get paid on what I have sold. It is a service oriented company so the sales force is not treated as well as it should be. Also expect to work a lot of hours and struggle with work/ life balance. You must be tough to work here or get tough to last."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make more of an investment in personal growth of the employees. Make sure that the same rules apply to everyone and not to play favorites. Listen to the employees on suggestions to improve. Make drastic changes to the culture."

"Get ready to work ridiculous hours and don't think you'll be able to take any time off w/o unspoken being penalized for it."

"Super micro management, paper work, long hours, poor communication by upper management and lack of training."

"Aramark won't listen to any type of constructive criticism unless it falls within their own agendas."

"Aramark Uniform Services is the worst organization I have ever worked for. Brad Drummond and Mike Fadden have built a toxic culture that is bottom line driven and puts people LAST. They say they want to make it a great place to work, but their actions do not support or demonstrate that. There is no loyalty, appreciation or respect for any employee. They take no time to get to know their people or anything about their personal lives. Mike Fadden leads by fear and intimidation and people are constantly walking on eggshells around him from the VP level down. The only incentive to do a good job is to not get fired or chastised by Mike. He has zero people skills, shows very little respect for anyone, and makes decisions in a vacuum. People are afraid to speak out or disagree for fear of retribution. I've seen VPs that are close to nervous breakdowns because of the stress and anxiety he causes. This is not a place to work if you value your emotional or physical health. And speaking of health, the benefits are horrible."

"Great place to work with plenty of opportunities to grow and contribute. Management is supportive, professional and dialed in to the work environment. The benefits are generous, with ample vacation accrual, sick and floating days. Individual birthdays are celebrated by giving the employee a paid day off and there's one day out of the year where we celebrate "Employee Appreciation Day." Just like any other work environment, there's always room for improvement. The exciting part is, you can always find a fellow employee who shares like-minded ideas of areas for improvement."

"Bad Company to work for. Work out ways the pay. Supervisors lie constantly. If you are not on drugs, snorting cocaine on lunch break, on alcoholic or if one of the supervisors is not sexually attracted to you then you will not get ahead at this company. You have to kiss lots of butt or go off on the managers or supervisors in order to get a raise. They will Work you like a slave then get rid of you replace you with someone that does not know anything."
