"The best part of working at Applied Materials is the variety of projects and job assignments that I have gotten to work on in the 5+ years of working at the company. The people I have interacted with have been great in addition to the manager I have worked for."

"The instability of the semiconductor business is my least favorite thing about the company; with the company's revenue going into deep decline when the economy is suffering. These conditions bring about a lot of lay-offs and forced time off but it is necessary for the continued success of the company. In this way my criticism is more about the industry and not so much the company."

"It would be great if management could have a bigger picture view of things instead of what is good for today; but again this is an aspect of high technology and Silicon valley."
