"Great team environment with pleasant support from management. I do wish the pay was a bit more competitive though."
"When I started at Apostrophe, the team and culture were phenomenal. The former CTO, Kathy Keating, was one of the best C-Level executives I have worked for during my career. The former Director of Software Engineering and former Chief Data Architect were also fantastic engineers and managers. Early in my tenure, incredibly bright, passionate, and amazing people comprised the engineering team. Apostrophe Inc. is a Certifed B Corporation. The company has a noble goal; it is trying to fix the healthcare system in the US. Cons There is a lack of autonomy and trust in engineering roles. Company leaderships attempts to micromanage engineering Apostrophe treats Engineers and development personnel like they're disposable. A series of unceremonious terminations among development staff have left employees worrying about the long-term viability of their jobs. Apostrophe leadership told engineering that they would be increasing the size of the team 150% - instead, they laid off 50% of the remaining engineering personnel. Management doesn't respond to criticism and critique well."
