"only the paycheck and What benefits we have, but are continuing to become less generous and more expensive, from year to year"

"Run as fast as you're feet will carry you, if you had the unfortunate experience of interviewing with Anthem..PRAY, they don't hire you.I realize times are desperate and tough out there, but it will be far worth waiting for a much better opportunity with a more worthy employer."

What don't you like about working at Anthem Blue Cross?

"There are too many Issues to mention here in this amount of space.Someday I'll write a Book all about it, as a warning to others, to aim MUCH higher than Anthem Go somewhere else, if you want to be treated with a little dignity. I hope I make more money with the book , than I EVER did at Anthem."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wouldn't waste my time. Not there anymore anyway. And they are the reason.It falls on deaf ears anyway.A totally useless waste of breath, better saved for something more worthy.A word to the wise: Don't fall for the managers Open door Policy speech. They are Invenerate liars, and have no shame. I don't know who's worse..Anthem Management, or todays Politicians. Both Liars."

"people, ethical, strong culture, great benefits, collaborative organization, successful, name brand recognition"

"Wellpoint is a difficult company to get hired, pay is low for what is expected. Need to improve work life balance (survey scores indicate most people are burnt out)."

What don't you like about working at Anthem Blue Cross?

"bureaucratic culture, not nimble or entrepreneurial, poor work life balance, not strategic enough"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Continuous improvement efforts are slow since there is not enough time in the day to get associates motivated to improve."

What do you like about working at Anthem Blue Cross?

"I get to work from home 100% of the time. I do maintain a desk at the office for one Windows box and one Linux box"

"This is a good company but big"

"I do not get any benefits with this job. The security team at this job only runs scans and do not necessarily work on resolving issues"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I do not get to talk to my boss a lot, however that is a good thing. He sees my team as independant and rarely gets involved. There are others on the team that need more attention"

"Being able to provide services to individuals that needed our products and services. It was rewarding and gratifying when I would receive calls thanking me for helping them avoid a financial burden due to a catestrophic event."

"Proactive listening skills. Ensuring that you provide the appropriate products the family needs not what you feel they need."

"The changes to the commision structure due to Health Care Reform."

"Continual communiation and appropriate execution of changes within a timely manner."

"being able to work from home, having flexible hours, receiving your paid time off on each check instead of a lump sum at the end of a year."

"be prepared to not be heard but to work hard and just settle in, there are no changes coming, so just accept the system as it is."

"being moved from team to team with a different manager about every year and a different director just as often, system issues never resolved, and continues changes in our workflow and process."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"ask the people who work the system what upgrades would help. take the time to impliment the processes that were agreed on that would really help but never put in place, and quit taking away more and more from our benefits and bonuses"

"been there long enough to have have a decent amount of vacation built up"

"constantly laying off associates years round regardless of performance. It's all about numbers, not quality work"

"start treating associates like human beings & not a number"

"I loved working with people, our helping our customers both internal and external. Loved working with a hard working team and great coworkers."

"Always research data! Go into websites read the companies history/background etc. Ask questions and check all that the companies has to offer."

"They need to improve the benefits for medical, dental and vision. They need to over a better package for tuition and career advancement."

"Be a little more supportive, communicative, lead by example, continue management training to enhance their management skills this way they have a better understanding of their departments."

"I did enjoy the process of increasing sales 70% in my territory when regional sales decreased."

What don't you like about working at Anthem Blue Cross?

"I did not like the tri-state strategy which assumed that the local competition was not competition and that only the national competition mattered."
