"I was lucky enough to have a great boss, who empowered me and allowed me to go out and meet my objectives. In general was a generous corporation with lots of exciting challenges both technical and managerial."

"Find out about your boss, and his/her ability to make things happen, and his/her willingness to listen and push your ideas."

What don't you like about working at Anritsu?

"Senior management thought they knew it all, now most of them are gone."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They have experienced staff, some of them willing to contribute. Listen to them. When laying off, you need to consider you're putting a family in the street, don't attempt to put employees with 2 weeks salary."

"Excellent place for technical knowledge in RF, Microwave, some MMIC design, as well as some FPGA/DSP stuff. This is an instrumentation company and therefore all circuits are typically high performance."

"Know your circuits, systems and instrumentation."

What don't you like about working at Anritsu?

"It simply depends upon where you work, and what department. I would never go into manufacturing unless that's something you'd want to do. I saw far, far too many BSEEs trying to get out of manufacturing at Anritsu (you get stuck there). Most of these folks earned their MSEE while doing the manufacturing tour of duty (perhaps that's a fair trade)."
