"Working at Amtrak was very exciting. Making reservations, talking with customers about travel and prices, checking on schedules was a lot of fun for me. I got to talk to a lot of people across the US."

"The Amtrak call center in Chicago does not exist anymore so I can't give any tips."

What don't you like about working at Amtrak?

"Having to work on major holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving when you have small children and being bumped from a schedule because of seniority."
