"I worked for Amrita for a few years, and I must say that while I found the work to be satisfying, I would not recommend the company as an employer for many reasons. The management team struggles to keep qualified candidates in key positions due to low pay, disorganization throughout the company and very little opportunity to move up in pay. Rules, policies and procedures change so much that confusion reigns most days at Amrita, and many things slip through the cracks. For as long as the company has been around, it has lacked a level of professionalism seen at other companies the same size. While the market growth potential is strong for companies making all-natural skin care products and essential oil blends, I would not consider Amrita to be a place to land for a long-term career, but instead merely a stepping stone to get to some place more organized with upward mobility in the marketplace. Amrita has been losing business the last couple years and hasn't done much to secure new customers. Its ad campaigns are often misguided, and there are many missed opportunities for promotions during various holidays."
