"Good at first, but true colors started to show as time progressed. Generally bad."

What do you like about working at American Test Center?

"Good coworkers out in the field. They generally are friendly, Average-Joe types who do blue collar work for a living."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Working out in the field with the other employees can be a fun and rewarding experience. The workday goes fast and the work is decent but be prepared to spend most of your time outside. However, management WILL deceive and mislead to get you into the door. Get all promises in writing, do not rely on verbal agreements or you'll regret it. Be as thorough as you can be in questioning them about company policies. They like to keep things from you and won't hesitate to reprimand and/or discipline you for breaking the policies. A lot of their policies are NOT in writing so you will need to have them explained and written down for you. This company also does not care for its employees, come in with the expectation that you will be treated as a body that brings in money for them, nothing more."

What don't you like about working at American Test Center?

"Management is inept at managing and the lack of empathy is appalling. They will make you stay at cockroach motels that they would not be caught dead in. Double standards abound between management and the field. If it's in the companies favor they will take advantage of you in a heartbeat. Management will deceive and mislead you to get you to submit to what they want but all promises will most likely be broken. Communication is poor at best. They will not tell you need to know information then reprimand and discipline you for violating that need to know information they never told you,"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop lying to the employees. Instead, be honest and truthful and tell them from the get go all information. Show a little more empathy. If your workers feel you actually care for them they will bring you in more money. If they feel you don't care, they will do the bare minimum."
