Overview
American Arbitration Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to alternative dispute resolution (ADR). They provide assistance in every aspect of ADR cases, including the initial filing, choice of hearing locations, identification of competent mediators and arbitrators, and fair and impartial case closure. A primary role of the AAA is the design and implementation of ADR systems for public agencies, corporations, unions, legal firms and the courts.
The American Arbitration Association was formed in 1926 by the merger of the Arbitration Foundation and the Arbitration Society of America.
