What do you like about working at Ameresco?
"I like working in green, clean, sustainable energy. I like the feeling that my work contributes something to the greater good, so to speak."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask a lot of questions. My expereince, and talking with peers it appears to be typical, is that the job interviewed for and described on teh offer letter are not the positions you end up filling."
What don't you like about working at Ameresco?
"Little to no growth or advancement opportunity. I believe in well planned, and structured projects result in success. Unfortunately, there is no project management structure, and eveyone from design engineers to site superintendents have project maanger titles, but there doesn't seem to be anyone actually managing projects."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a good hard, constructive look at project management maturity. The company has grown significantly in the last several years, yet there doesn;t appear to be any consideration to project management growth."

"Friendly work environment that promotes individuality and innovation. Coworkers are friendly and helpful."

"Try to learn all the tools provided by the company and be well versed in troubleshooting"

"I want to be able to join the team as a permanent employee. Contractors are stuck in a rut"
