4.7As a Data Scientist Intern, leveraged my expertise in data science methodology to develop new ways of understanding the Alteryx community data and uncovering insights for our team to aid their decision-making process. Key responsibilities include:
• performing statistical analysis to segment and understand the behaviors of users on the Alteryx community, recommending strategies to move users from one level of user engagement to more advanced levels to increase the user engagement on the community
• building a Trend-Analysis model using Natural Language Processing techniques to identify the daily trending topics on the Community and deploying a custom interactive KPI Dashboard on the Tableau Server for better scaling and easy access.
• identifying users who have a high probability of failing in the Core-Certification Exam and recommended key factors contributing to the exam after extensive data exploration to accelerate the pass percentage.
• Updating the key developments on the Alteryx Community every week by Communicating the insights to the Senior Director, Product Managers and other non-technical audienc
4.3Alteryx is a great place to work. They spare no expense on tools and resources for their sales team to win and keep business, the seek to improve the customer experience, and everyone is dedicated to exposing everyone to data literacy and the impact it can have on an organization. Training and development opportunities, always learning, always.
The only drawback, in my opinion, is unnecessary internal politics that impact morale and affect productivity. It stems from an older class of management. The management staff requires training on working within the modern diverse work environment, they have identified and acknowledge this as well.
4.2Alteryx is a company that provides a strategic analytic platform for line of business analysts. My role was designing the UI/UX for the website and also supporting the marketing team.
