"I worked for Allegiant for a year, before and after graduating college. The company was an excellent place to learn new technologies and break into the world of software development. The supervisors and co-workers were very friendly and helpful and gave me the opportunity to learn and grow in the field. After 6 months, I found myself helping other new-hires into the company and training them. This, along with learning new techs, made Allegiant a great place to work."

"I've worked at Allegiant HQ for 5 years, and there's a lot to like about the company. The work environment is casual and welcoming. The campus is nice and modern, and in a convenient location, near highway access. The culture is pretty approachable across different tiers of the organization, and I really liked my teammates and bosses, quite a few of them have become close friends over the years. My only issue is that I feel they trimmed the workforce too thin during the peak of covid challenges, and those of us who remained had an excessive workload once business picked up. Hiring isn't keeping up with the operation yet."

"My coworkers. Allegiant air attracts employees from all walks of life and it makes for an interesting day... everyday. :P"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't just come to Allegiant for the flight benefits or to just get in the door with the intent to move to a better position quickly. I have found that it rarely works out that way for the majority of people. Many people don't realize that their work schedule will likely hinder travel plans and moving up is usually a long term process if you are lucky enough. Also, be sure you understand that an airline is always running, 24/7 365 days a week so depending on your position, be ready for odd hours and longer work days than you would like, especially if you are salary."

What don't you like about working at Allegiant Air?

"Allegiant Air is top heavy with too many bosses that do not take the time to get to know their workers and how they contribute to the company. Many workers feel as though they are constantly being used and discarded just a quickly. I have seen many people go because they were not treated well, because they found a better job, or because they were overworked/underpaid. I wish Allegiant could find a good balance to motivate and retain skilled and dedicated people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would do more to promote teamwork and synergy between the various departments and bases. You would be surprised how many work groups are constantly at each other's throats when we should all be working towards the same common goal."

"Upper management treats people like tools to be used and discarded when no longer necessary"

"Find where you lost your souls or replace yourselves before you destroy the company"

"I was not informed about company standards and felt I was not allowed to learn more about the company."
