"Pros: Close knit family owned company. Well established and growing. New leadership across many disciplines brought change and fresh perspective. Recent renovations. Location. Highways nearby and free parking. Wave of promotions this year. Positive experiences waiting for those who want to find them. Cons: Owner's engagement on small details. Can't let go of "catalog and modernization is moving slowly despite many years of upgrades". Limited remote working and limited time off. Complicated systems. Advice to Management: Provide clear 1, 5 and 10 year goals and trust the employees to get there. Compensate fairly. Cut dead weight, don't tolerate the few naysayers or they will drag down morale."

"The company was decent until they hired a new person in HR. This person is rude, condescending and has no respect for the employees at all. After that, the pay got more pathetic, the flexibility got worse, and the company as a whole went downhill. I would stay away. It's a horrible company that has no respect for their employees' ideas, opinions, or well being."

"Worked for company for 3 years. In that time I've been lied about, called a liar by the VP of HR, accused of many things I did not do, told I don't know how to do my job, not paid correctly, and the pay is very poor to boot. Very poor company, very poorly run, no vision, disrespectful management, HORRIBLE HR Director, glad I've moved on."

"Going through a reorganization. It is a difficult company to work for as it has no vision or strategic direction."

Associate Product Manager

"Overall great place to get medical product marketing management experience, very involved hands on role"

What do you like about working at AliMed?

"I loved the team collaboration and talented graphics team that worked hand in hand with product management. I really enjoyed the ability to get highly involved in the role and to learn how to develop new products and market them through the full product life cycle. In addition working with Ray my clinical colleague was one of my best work experience to date. He was a great person to learn from and laugh with."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are looking to get the experience it is a great place, if you are seasoned professional you will feel very frustrated with the management style."

What don't you like about working at AliMed?

"I thought it was frustrating to keep a line as big as the OR/DI line moving and growing without enough adequate infrastructure to handle the expansion. I would have liked to seen a bonus for all the extra work we did for the catalog as well as the addition 10 million dollars in sales we brought into the business unit."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To understand and respect the value of the people they hire. To encourage to bring out the best in them."
