What do you like about working at Airwest Helicopters?
"I love flying helicopters and being able to teach individuals a new function as a helicopter pilot instructor."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company as a whole is fantastic and is quite diverse. Understand an interview with a helicopter company is quite dry. You will be quizzed regarding your current hours and ability to handle high-stress situations involving new students (which I have no qualms)."
What don't you like about working at Airwest Helicopters?
"I am not able to obtain the hours I need to pursue a career path in helicopters. I have been attempting to gain enough hours to move on for over 4 years. I am pursuing a different career path."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest my manager remain honest with all students and educate the lack of career opportunities upon graduation/attainment of licenses."
