"The people in the day to day operations make this place the best regional airline to be at. It's a young work group and very few egoes here."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself, they will hire you based on your personality so be fun to be around, your quals got you the interview, not the job."
What don't you like about working at Compass Airlines?
"We are far underpaid for the responsibilities we have. Also, there are lots of cut corners when it comes to training and benefits."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We have a contract that outlines minimums lke minimum time off and minimum work rules. Do more than just the bare minimum per the contract, it looks bad. If we have 11 days off per month guaranteed by the contract, that doesn't mean we should ONLY have 11 days off per month especially when there are tons of reserves sitting around doing nothing."

"the pilots that I got to fly with where some of the greatest people I've had the opportunity to meet."

"instrument written and pack light where ever they base you."

"no job security, no choice on base, no concern from management on decisions and how they effect anyone."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"learn how to treat pilots like people. When you work someone 16 hours a day 5 days a week..you should give them more respect."

"An office with a view. Great people and interesting places. Travel benefits and schedule flexibility."

"Compared to the other regional carriers operating in the U.S., Colgan is an operation involving fuel efficient aircraft which ensures better job security in our current economy."

"Management and Union conflicts. Unfair salary compensation."

"Pay attention to what the Pilot and Flight Attendant Union's are trying to suggest management does to resolve the current issues at hand."
