"The tools and equipment that are used at the facility I work at have improved about 100% in the last 2 years. I am the 1st I and E technician ever hired for an onsite technician. I have everything there to do temperatures (rtd and t/c), flow, pressure, level, and frequency. The only device at the site when I arrived was a Hart communicator. It was highly advised to these gentlemen that it's not just how your equipment runs, but the numbers it produces. This has come out to be a nice plant."

"HQ is okay, but other locations may limit your growth unless you are on expat assignment."

"Offshore staff gets rubbish pay and rubbish opportunities for growth, even the job titles are at times embarrassing for the type of work done by some individuals. Engineers seem to do well but for others opportunities are fairly limited."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Bring back the jobs from the offshore centers, or create more progression opportunities/pay the staff offshore better wages to reduce turnover and increase quality&productivity. Cost focus is short-sighted."

"not much supervision small have a little more freedom than bigger plants I worked in"

"Apply elsewhere! You won't get a pension here, and most of your supervisors earned their jobs the wrong way."

"There is a lack of trust. As bosses changes you have to reestablish yourself. Information about abiliteis aren't passed on."

"Merge the divsions to act as one company. Right now it is a lot of different interests covered by one name."

"I would make it so you have more time off if wanted. maybe a payed day or 2 for being sick. not geting any sick time is hard, when you do get sick"

"Make quicker decisions and respect loyalty. The floor is where the work is done. Only slight guidance is required if you hire the right people."
