"I worked for Air Methods for 18 months. I found it to be a challenging and rewarding company that saves lives every day through air medical transport. Outstanding pilots, clinicians are the heart of the company!"
"Great place to work. Helpful co-workers and steady hours."
"Great overall company purpose. However, does not treat their people particularly well and opportunities for advancement are few and far between. While executive turnover is common, so is recruiting external candidates so it is rare for anyone to have a chance to advance from within."
"I've worked for Air Methods for three years and since then I've experienced poor business management on the side of personnel responsible for making sure the base had the right fire suppression system and a place for crew to rest. Bases close right and left with no warning. The company is large and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They spend millions buying air medical companies and spend millions in mismanagement of them and shut them down without warning. They do not care about their employees what so ever and there is no job security. You can expect retaliation and hostility from upper management. I would seriously recommend finding another company who invests in their employees and their business relationships."
"Poor working conditions, and lack of leadership from upper management. Consistent low morale with high attrition rates across multiple departments. It was known that the CEO was not fond of our division and had been attempting to sell if off for two years. After my first two months of employment, the CEO terminated the Division President and Sr. Operations Manager. I attempted to change the atmosphere and direction within the engineering department, but was micromanaged to a debilitating point."
