"Outstanding"

What do you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"The ability to work on my home and at home. They put a lot of responsiblity upon you, but I love the challenge. It just pushes me to give more and to go above and beyond. The work is challenging, but every day is a new day. I love the work."

"All About Profits, Not About Ethics"

What do you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"As long as you keep a low profile, the work of a Regional Account Manager can be interesting, especially if you like anaylsis and numbers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Simply be forewarned of what you are going into. The salary is decent; commission potential is low on average. A good RAM needs to be organized, analytical, detail-oriented, people-oriented (for building relationships with providers), and open to learning. Basic math skills are also necessary."

What don't you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"There is absolutely no room for work-life balance at AIM, and management has no qualms about letting you know this. Career advancement is nearly impossible if you have children or are unavailable for extensive hours/travel. Additionally, it is made known that money is the bottom line, and if you are not bringing in money for the company, you are not doing a good enough job. In sum, the person has little to no value, and you can be a superstar one day and a liability the next."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management at AIM has always had issues with communication...ie, communicating rules and changes from corporate to field employees. Additionally, I would highly recommend less micro-management and a greater level of trust of the RAMs; after all, they are the money-makers for the company. In the Virginia area specifically, there was always a problem with management isolating itself from RAMs and again, not valuing the RAMs as people."

"Great Place to Work if you like repetition"

What do you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"Very easy job and the pay is decent. If you work hard and follow the rules you can make a decent wage. If looking for 6 figures, this is not the place. A NYC area RAM makes anywhere between 43-65k. It always depends on how much revenue you generate.Great training program."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest, upfront and make sure to brush up on your math skills. This job requires that you are capable of doing basic math but it's their own formula. Don't fight it- just go with the flow."

What don't you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"Boring!! this is an extremely boring job. Very mundane and repetitive. If you enjoy being a drone then this is the place."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Things may have changed since I worked there 4 yrs ago. I thought the benefits package was lame. The health insurance was pretty bad. There is no opportunity for growth outside of the main office in TN. There are basically 3 jobs per state. RAM, ARD, and RD. Your only chance at ARD or RD is to be with the company long enough until one of those 2 people leave or relocate. I don't honestly think that there is anything that can be done about that- it's just the way it is. AIM cannot create jobs where they are not needed. My current employer actually purchased AIM this year!!"

"The only thing that's important is the money you refund to insurance companies. The same insurance companies that have broken our healthcare system."

What do you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"I was able to gain some very narrow experience that looked good on my resume."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you want to work within the healthcare revenue cycle, just go to work for a hospital - not AIM."

What don't you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"Their inability to tell the truth, lack of professionalism, and focus on profit over employee retention and education."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop playing favorites, begin telling the truth - even when it means you won't be able to string an employee along with promises of advancement - and try to act like you have a corporate job when you interact with hospital staff (I'm talking to you, Joey and Jill)."

"They do not value their employees and are only concerned with the bottom line."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"don't do it"

What don't you like about working at AIM Healthcare Services?

"micro-management; must work 60+ hours to accomplish quota; horrible management skills; do not offer to help employees succeed"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"take courses on how to properly manage, motivate and help your employees succeed"
