"Company has potential but lacks strong leadership and clear communication."

What do you like about working at AIM Consulting Co.?

"Free parking, company-paid lunches, good work-life balance, interesting projects, central location."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Typical PR fluff-firm that specializes in numerous meetings over coffee or lunch. Since they only organize and facilitate public meetings and don't create anything of real substance, it's all about looks to them. Just dress nicely, act like a total yuppie, and you'll do fine."

What don't you like about working at AIM Consulting Co.?

"Poor communication from management, tendency for management to blame subordinates for their failings, poor training and orientation for new employees - DO NOT ask for help after they explain the project the first time, even to verify something. They interpret that as being a slow learner instead of a conscientious worker."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management needs to communicate with subordinates more professionally and not yell at them for seeking help with minor things like a paper jam in the printer tray, etc. If you call yourself a communications firm, it reflects badly on you to not know how to communicate professionally with others in the office. My father owned his own business for decades and never yelled at his workers, there's no excuse for the Principal of this organization to think that it's okay to do. That's how you cultivate ill will and resentful employees."
