-$18K (56%) less than average Aetna salary ($41K) "my pay at Aetna is not equivalent to the amount I work I actually do. I started as a customer service rep making 13 an hour then to receive the promise of benefits I would have to drop to 11 an hour to qualify for coverage benefits. I have still yet to acquire PTO benefit and i been here for over a year. I get the run around every time I ask. I became a subject matter expert after passing my quality analysis for 6 consecutive months. I didn't get a raise I still made 11 an hour. I researched and Aetna makes $27 per call and expects CSR's to make 8 calls per hour. That's 56-64 calls per day which equal $1,512-$1,728 an agent per day. If you have 40 agents That's $60,480 - $69,120 a day. but customer service agents only see at max $88 per day. I want to be apart of an effectively managed system that better caters to the workforce that
makes the company flourish."
