3.3I worked with Aeria Games & Entertainment for over 3 years. At its height, the company was a great place to work for in terms of cash flow and generating new ideas for marketing. Over the past year, the focus shifted to mobile game development and the PC game revenue suffered a huge decline. I have nothing bad to say about the people or management. However, I do think that the company is more in survival mode as opposed to becoming an innovative game changer in the industry.
2.3I've worked at Aeria Games since 2011 and have found the culture to be very aggressive. I have see too many great people burnt out and systematically let go. The turnover rate is quite high and even though you work hard to foster a positive work environment for the people you manage, morale becomes an issue to maintain due to burn and turn mentality of some supervisors. There are some gems of managers who do care about their employees but their stay is generally short lived.
3.5Aeria Games & Entertainment is a great company with very nice, and intelligent people. The atmosphere is very friendly, even though it is fast paced, and sometimes with some pressure. The leads, managers and supervisors are very talented and smart people. You can learn a lot of new things from them.
