"This company is now over 60,000 strong and I would make them aware that it is a large corporation rather than a smaller business."

What don't you like about working at AECOM?

"I didn't enjoy sitting at a desk all day. I like being able to move about freely but I'm well aware that most positions require time behind a desk."

"The only request I would have is to give positive reinforcement when possible. It's amazing what a thank you can do to make your day better."

"None that I can think of. The company is still in the process of consolidating the purchase of several companies. Colton office was closed down and staff moved to Ontario."

"Company was sold to a larger Company resulting in drastic changes in culture."

"Provide clear non-management tracks for advancement that is achievable by mid career engineers."

"they tend to not value training such as OSHA, and other construction related fields."

"they should provide more seminars to their employees in safety, and others"

"like everything except not able to use connections I have in Asia countries"

"EDAW is a great company for learning in many areas, only suggestion would be to provide more real world construction experiences."

"Some colleagues were OK. Building was well presented and centrally located."

"Don't work for AECOM under any circumstances unless you like feeling abused, unappreciated undervalued, undermined, threatened and insecure. Don't believe anything they say about it being a great place to work. It isn't. It's a taste of hell. There are plenty of alternatives."

"Backstabbing, evil, thieving, abusive, lying people who take credit for the work of others. Corrupt and incompetent management. Constant harrassment about utilization. Promotion of bullies and dishonest managers. Pack of wolves."

"Take complaints about bullying seriously and don't promote such people. Value technical expertise instead of utilization."

"Lack of enthusiasm, lack of drive and not in alignment with companies vision of being successful from time to time"

"Provide training for new technology and management skills, motivation to the employees with weekly or monthly motivational programs and make them believe everyday to work something significantly important for the company, for them and ultimately for the society"

"I enjoy working on a design team with great people. It's gratifying to work with people all over the world on important projects. AECOM has a strong commitment to setting industry standards for client services."

"In order to work with this company, it's important to be able to work well with people. One of the strong value's we have is the involvement of working as a team. This means everyone should have excellent skills in their profession and communicate with others."

What don't you like about working at AECOM?

"I don't have any negative comments about my company. However I'm disappointed that it seems we've lost focus on the clients in our region. Most of the projects I've worked on in the past few years have been with different offices in other regions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A major suggestion for management is to regain a strong focus for a smaller client base. My opinion is that we've don't bother working with clients unless it offers top design fees."
