"Due to a client not letting us know that they were going direct to late in the year, we couldn't adjust our P&L . So 5 jobs were lostincluding mine"

"Be prepared to give up your personal life in order to work here."
What don't you like about working at Advantage Sales and Marketing?
"My Region is HUGE requiring me to spend a large percentage of my week on a plane, in an airport and adjusting to time zone changes instead of actually working. So I work 6 days a week, average of 12 hours per day. They have way too many conference calls - this eats up another 10 hours per week. Also way too many meetings. From Aug to March I will have spent over 7 weeks in meetings."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Set realistic geographies, allow Regionals to set their travel schedules, reduce conference calls and meetings. Let your managers MANAGE."
"Junior Systems Analyst includes monitoring servers and making decisions / writing scripts to improve the quality of the system and ultimately the end user."
What do you like about working at Advantage Sales and Marketing?
"I love my team. I am surrounded by an immense wealth of knowledge sitting just a stones throw away. From the best DBA's to Developers, if I have a question they are more than willing to help. I am also given a lot of freedom to do my job the way it needs to be done(including setting up my own linux servers and maintaining them myself)."

"Be Motivated! No one likes a lazy person who can not solve problems for themselves."
What don't you like about working at Advantage Sales and Marketing?
"I feel that my advancement is limited as far as a developer goes. I have the opportunity to advance my way up the ladder through IT but that is not my cup of tea."

"Open up your heart to Linux and you will be greatly rewarded with performance improvements!"

"The company had many different projects, companies and products that were interesting. Many times, ASM would receive demonstration units that they would pass on to the employees. Also, my manager was very nice and easy to work with."

"The work environment was loud and the company felt unorganized. Meetings were stressfull and often unproductive."

"I generally liked working with Advantage, but I went back to school to further my education and could not devote full time hours."
