What do you like about working at ADS Financial?

"I had brilliant bosses, who were eager to teach me some terrific business acumen, as well as great depth of knowledge about their business."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be professional, and don't claim to know or understand some software, or how to run a project if you really do not because the people interviewing you have been in their business for 25+ years, and they will know right away if you are bluffing. As with any interview: be honest!"

What don't you like about working at ADS Financial?

"I did not get to do as much work as I could have because the national financial crisis came to a head in the third and fourth quarters of 2007, so we were not hiring as much as planned. Sometimes I feel that I never got to show the extent of my potential even though I recruited some top professionals for them -just not as many as we thought when I was hired."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None. I think they began streamlining the company at the right time given the state of their clients' crises and how much their clients' needs changed so quickly. I was not surprised or upset personally to be let go, since it was not based on my performance just the new direction that ADS went. A direction that I agreed with."
