"I enjoyed writing specifications and reviewing other agent work before posting them on the city's website. I set up bid meetings, conferences and seminars. I was the overseer of the auction for the City of Irving"

"Complete the entire interview and hope for the best that is all you can do."
What don't you like about working at City of Irving?
"Copying and open records request from requestor sometimes it's 300-500 page."

"Time management for helping the auction to go smoothly and bids."

"Ask questions about the size and stress level of what department you will be working in. The pay scale is set that everyone with the same title is paid the same, no matter a difference in size or responsibilities."

"While the work itself is easy, the constant short deadlines due to manager's turning everything in late has gotten frustrating."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would start by restructuring the pay system. The current system sets a hard maximum for job titles instead of through years/experience/reviews. This causes workers to not want to stay within a position for an extended period of time. Little retention of employees as they are constantly moving to a better paying position."

"CUtting edge academic healthcare institution. World leader in medicine research. Great people, wonderful physicians and scientists. Genuine caring people."

"UIHC is committed to the care of it's patients. Be a compassionate person but be a team player as well."
What don't you like about working at University of Iowa?
"Some departments are grossly mismanaged (Urology for example). THe administration in some departments has choked employee morale and created an atmosphere that is not conducive to healing of any kind."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better oversight of all departments especially those with extremely high turn over rates, especially in nusring and support roles. Where there is smoke, there is often fire."
What do you like about working at United States Department of Agriculture?
"I like the big picture of what the Agency and Department do, but technology is woefully behind."

"If you are in a technical field, you will do fine and have plenty of opportunities for growth (regardless of actual skill). I you are in an administrative field, prepare to be frustrated and stuck."

"There is little respect for Administrative professionals and the work they do. Leadership in management at all levels is lacking."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Re-evaluate the Agency's HR needs, use technology more efficiently, and encourage employees to take initiative to constantly try to improve the Agency."

What do you like about working at Western New Mexico University?
"Working in an academic environment does much to nurture the soul. My position affords me the vantage point to view my surroundings from the student perspective as well as the intermediary with faculty and community. I really have the best job on campus."

"Don't apply with the notion you can work up to a better pay. It is a state job and you have to apply because you feel you can make a difference or it fullfills a passion. The work environment is completely satisfying."
What don't you like about working at Western New Mexico University?
"The fine print in my yearly contract states and duties as assigned. While there are some that would view this as opened opportunity for the employer to dump duties and responsibilities, I see it as an advantage to asserting my various skills and experiences to enhance the student environment. So I guess there isn't much I don't like about my job. If I could change anything, I guess it would be a more transparent source of communication between University entities and student."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communication must be improved if there is ever to be a real move towards a University worth exploring."
What do you like about working at Tulane University?
"I am free to browse internet all day without restrictions."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Fight tooth and nail to get your salary raised up front, because it's like pulling teeth from a crocodile to get a title change or pay raise later on."
What don't you like about working at Tulane University?
"Lack of challenge or mental stimulation; the work is stagnant."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Raise salaries, make sure people were engaged in projects, ask employee's opinion in making decisions, give them autonomy."
