Acronis Employee

"As the Vice President of Engineering and R&D at Acronis SCS, I have built the Engineering department from the ground up in order to harden and secure commercial-grade software such that it can be deployed into sensitive government and military installations. Growing revenue from 1.8MM to 6.8MM in just 2 years. In addition, I've developed methodology for transformation of commercial grade software into hardened military grade software capable of getting high level government certifications (FIPS 140-2, Common Criteria, DoDin APL) with maximum transparency and audit tracking. A huge win!"

Account Manager

"Great product to be involved with, however I was there at an early point in development."

Inside Sales Account Executive

"This review is based on my work there in 2005..I've heard it had changed for the better."

What do you like about working at Acronis?

"It gave me the opportunity to get into my field as a 25 year old with no experience. I am very grateful for that."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just always be yourself and be honest. Always...always, end with a close. Ask why you would not be a good fit for the position...that way you can address any any concerns right there on the spot and close the deal. Send an email as soon as you go home thanking everyone you've met...send the emails individually...no group Thank you..It gives a much more personal touch. Hand write letters if you think there is enough time. People are losing the old fashioned way of doing business which was a personal relationship. A letter is better than sending 100 emails."

What don't you like about working at Acronis?

"Honestly, it was the management. Some were related, some were only interested in the impending sale of the company. I feel they also let too many good people go. They were great people and hard workers...but I guess that's the nature of the business."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They are under new management now. I'd say, call me...maybe I should come back to work there :)"

Account Executive

"This review separates the people who desire more from a job then any other job."

What do you like about working at Acronis?

"It was my first experience in sales right out of college. The intense atmosphere made me want to close deals even more."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Sound eager and knowing that if you have this role you will make a good sum of money."

What don't you like about working at Acronis?

"We always lacked in customer support. Customers would often complain they were never getting their answers to their tech problems."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"First off improving it to where customers are giving better reviews which starts with better suited tech engineers."
