"The sales process resembles high pressure telemarketing; generic development kits are sold at huge markups that border on a scam. Their best sales tactic is to send a frustrating incoherent quote to a customer so they have to call back. They won't even price a deal until an unfortunate developer has invested too much time in the project to switch; with the fish on the hook they adapt their licensing model to achieve the highest pain point they can manage. Most of the products are available for a fraction of their price from competitors or open source."
