"I work for Abercrombie and Fitch for a few months and I can see it was a good experience. I would like to also add that the customer service in that store is very well. I understand that there are some discrepancies with items sometimes, but it is always soft at the end of the day"
"I've worked for Abercrombie Kids as a seasoned worker. During my time there, I have built a great relationship with my coworkers and supervisors. Some of the duties I had to do was communicate with my supervisor to maintain communication among the department, inspect recalls to ensure customers were satisfied with quality items and provided a high level of customer service daily."
What do you like about working at Abercrombie Kids?
"I like my coworkers at Abercrombie. We're all either high school students or college students so almost the same age. The managers are super cool and relaxed."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Even though we strive for perfection don't stress on it. It's a pretty laid back job. If you plan on staying here for a while you must be on your A game."
What don't you like about working at Abercrombie Kids?
"Abercrombie has so many workers that you barely get any hours. They also have Call-In shifts that are shifts where you call an hour before to see if they need you or not. These shifts are very pointless. I would like to know if i'm working our not so I can make my plans according to my work schedule. I also don't like that they never make the schedule right, either they schedule too much people on a slow day or under-schedule all the time. They always call me on days I'm not scheduled to go in and help. I do it for the money even though $7.25 is not enough."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I were running the show I would engage more with my workers. Show a little appreciation to them and show them we care so they would be pumped up and excited to work hard each day. I wouldn't just give out orders without training you the proper way first. If I want you to do something I would want you to do it right."
"I enjoyed this position. It gave me experience in a management role."
