"1105 Media is a great place to learn about virtually any aspect of modern, B2B publishing. It's has a relatively small employee base for a company with so many publications. You must be willing to work hard, be flexible and learn things that might be outside of your comfort zone. You'll find you have terrific colleagues and lots of challenging work. That being said, it's the publishing business, which has undergone great and in many cases, traumatic changes. Be forewarned."

"Think twice. The grass over here is green but it's artificial turf."

"From my first day of work, I received no training on processes, introductions to the team, etc. However, from day one I have been criticized on my work product. Company culture is every one for themselves and management is extremely unprofessional, rude and offensive."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn how to treat people . . . well. Also, learn how to trust and respect those you hire as professionals."
