"Just hope my opinion contributes to improvement not only for Wyeth but the entire medical industry."

What do you like about working at Wyeth?

"I am a medical professional and working with brand products is a way for me to develop professionally. I was giving all my experience as a medical professional, collecting information from the field to the company and vice verse. I really enjoyed working for Wyeth and I really had passion during all the time I was Wyeth employee. Although the pharmaceutical sales training in general in the whole industry industry needs a Lots of Improvement and Big Changes, the material about technical information was consistent and very informative. I was always receiving updates, new studies, comments etc... This was wonderful aspect in the Company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I don't know where Wyeth stands in this current moment. After being purchased by Pfizer, I am guessing that there are reviews about what was wrong with this Company. Wyeth is a good industry but needs to stop doing charity and keep these unprofessional employees. The health care system indirectly is paying for it and we are all paying the consequences!"

What don't you like about working at Wyeth?

"I achieved my professional goals before time expected. I worked very hard, I helped my partner and other members in the team in terms of providing and explaining about technical information. I was asked all the time what I was doing to have the results that I achieved and how to improve the sales and all other questions that my colleagues asked about my work. I was doing well and others want to improve themselves, however I was laid off. The company spends lots of money in sales training and my partner was going to the offices and his job consisted in stealing samples from doctor's offices, and one day he was caught. I reported the incident, providing all information, including doctor's office and the staff who caught the Wyeth employee. I know that nothing was done and as far as I know the employee remains in the company and has the highest earning in the district. This means that the company approves non ethical and non professional behavior and also indirectly contributes to the rotten health care system where pharmaceutical companies act as a charity organization for incapable, non professional employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A higher level of management; they need lots of improvements in terms of selecting qualified professionals; there are employees working for around 30 years and doing what I witnessed what I described in the former question. Wyeth is a Company that has ethical brand products and deserves to work ethically to help improve the whole health care system. Doctors are requiring knowledgeable, trustful consultants or assistants ( sales professionals). Although Wyeth has a good reputation, right now it is known as a backwards company."

"I had no problems with the company. The company actually downsized."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Continue to effectively communicate."
