"The good old boys go fishing and hunting together. If you don't look or talk like them, you're out!! Inconsistent!!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get managers who are managers, not engineers trying to manage people. HR managers who are not just thinking where their next stop is going to be, and actually care about the people. Same goes for mill mgrs."

What do you like about working at Weyerhaeuser?

"Growth from within. I started in 1990 as a utility helper and climbed to Plant superintendent by 2000."

What don't you like about working at Weyerhaeuser?

"Corprate can be draining at times. Blanket policies sometimes hides diamonds in the rough."

"Never forget that the workers on the floor are the ones that get it done. Never forget where you came from."
