The co-workers were kind and helpful and we all banded together to make the best of the misery that was Valley Extrusions.

There is favoritism to those that get drunk with the plant manager. The Engineering dept manager will not hire anyone that may have more skills than he. The Maintenance Supervisor does absolutely nothing and collects 6 figures because he went to high school with the owner.

Stop promising a great future and wages ,only to cut wages and hours after 6 months. This is Valley's "MO" and it is the same with everyone... unless you drink with management or golf. I don't drink or golf, so my $47k a year was dropped to $15/hr because of low sales volume. Then they cut our hours to 32 per week, promising things would be back to normal in 6 months. After 2 years, things only got worse and the Management got bonuses.

They lure you with promises, then break every one.

Run... Run away as fast as you can. If you've already interviewed, when they offer you a position, which they almost always do (because of the high turnover) get everything they promise you in writing and have it signed by a witness.
