"The pay at USPS is good for the work we do. Regulars are guaranteed 8 hours along with overtime offered. Assistants are guaranteed 4 hours but are required to work overtime so assistants have a higher salary than regulars. It all depends on how many hours and overtime is put into the week. Holiday pay is offered to regulars who have holidays off. Assistants work on holidays but get paid for the hours they put in. Other positions such as trainers and union representatives are offered a couple dollars more than others. Managers and supervisors make as much or a little more than the trainers and union representatives."

"The pay at the USPS is always growing and changing. When I started off as a City Carrier Assistant I was making around $16 an hour, but now almost two and a half years later I am making close to $20 an hour with even more room to grow. There is always Overtime to work as well and hard work is always appreciated by management with offers of moving up the ladder into a supervising position."
