"I am paid well for my position; I work hard and very long hours. If you work in a small community or for a smaller post office, you probably will have less opportunity to work since there is only so many routes and homes to deliver to. I imagine those employees do not get paid as much, unfortunately. Since I work in a metro area, I can basically work as much as I want to, although I enjoy my downtime when possible."

"The pay at USPS is decent compared to other salaries I have seen. However there are threats against our pay rate, raises after promotions, and job security due to management's contract negotiations with the union so it's almost risky to accept a higher position because that may result in a heavy pay decrease."

"Reasonable. They don't always provide you with a company vehicle, so that will put a major dent in your wallet. They also are not very concerned with if you get paid for the work that you do. When you say something to them about it, it takes them 4 months to pay you. When they do pay you, you won't get your overtime if you had any."

"I think that it is great for the time that I have been employed. Others make more, but they have been there longer. I am willing to do my share of work and time to receive the type of compensation that they are currently receiving."
