Trial Counsel

What do you like about working at United States Army?

"I traveled to the Middle East, experienced life in the desert at 137 degrees Fahrenheit, a lot of people called me Sir and saluted me and showed respect like that, General Patton was part of 3rd Army."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know that you can be 'screwed' badly. A year of one's life is nothing to sneeze at."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"I was expecting much more from the senior officers that I reported to. Some of them were quite clownish and lacked admirability in significant respects. Instead of drinking soda they should've been working out or watching there caloric intake. Some of them were dismissive of my intellectual efforts and others thought they were brighter than they actually were or thought they were more competent attorneys than they actually were."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Appearance is key. Senior officers should put off clownish behavior, especially when or if ingratiating themselves to enlisted. Ping Pong tournaments are not that important for morale."
